Is the thickened 655 gflex epoxy easier for motor attachment?

Getting ready for motor attachment.. I'm thinking the regular gflex epoxy will run on me.. Anyone have first hand experience and pointers??

    Thanks!

I use Zpoxy 15min. thickened with either milled Fiberglass or milled Carbon Fiber. Depending on what kind of hull I'm working with. You mask a outline of the mount legs about 3/8" away from the leg, and when the Epoxy is about 1/2 hardened you pull the tape. It leaves a nice sharp edge.

The gflex will run a bit, not as thin as the regular West Systems, but it will sag.
I thicken with the West Systems 403 microfibers, a can of that will last you decades!
      This is NOT a toy?!?

What I do! I also like to put "rails/dam" around the motor mount railings, some might be put off by the looks of it, but I like the extra reassurance.

I use G/Flex with 403 for motor mounts. Make it any consistency you want.
