    Other options.

    I have a tunnel in the 27 inch range. I now run a lep 3650 2090
    Kv. Kicking around the idea of getting a new motor and using the 3650 on another another boat. I tried various props and it's quick but not quick enough. What motor would make the boat significantly faster? Using a 120a speaking. I have room for 2 2s batteries. I am using a 3s now. It doesn't have to be a lep. It could be any other brushless manifactor. Like castle or turnigy or whatever. Thanks
    Doesn't matter, real or RC, boats are just a hole in the water where you throw your cash.

    AquaCraft's 2030kv (so-called UL-1 motor) will be good on 4s.
    Is this an outboard tunnel?

        NOTE: if your Leopard 3650 comes with a 3.17mm shaft, then you need to reconsider, that's why I asked if it is out board, because the next question is which brand? All mine are O.S. outboards with conversion kits ( motor mount) for electric power and the collet is 5 mm on the motor end .
        Depending on the hull, I have 4 tunnels, two of which are ML-PS295, one AC TS-3 and lastly an AC VS-1, three of them have the mentioned motor and only one with a TP 3630 2100kv, that motor is my favorite.
        TP motor has changed their spec since, but here is the chart and anything around that kv would be good for 4s.

          Yes I use OS legs also with a conversion kit. . Might get a lawless to try out. I have lawless on all my 1/4 scale gas tunnels except one. That has a Gmorty. And compared to lawless the quality doesn't come close. But it still is a great leg. I like the tp. Never knew anyone who ran one. So I never seen one up close. I'll check it out. Thanks

            Just in case you get one of those TP motors, if it happens to be a "D" wind motor, lower the timing on your ESC between 0-4 degrees.
            "Y" =15*
            "D" =low, anywhere between 0-4* would work.
            Yeah, Lawless is top notch. I see gas guys run them and the quality speaks for themselves just by the looks of it.
            O.S. in this class ( 3.5) is better than the others though, IMO. i.e. compared to the Stiletto, Hyperperformance .
            There are a few new ones that OSE sells and I am very curious about their quality, no one seemed to have tried them yet.

              Yea, and the guy who designed them and builds them, Fred, is very knowledgeable. He is great. Any question or problem, he is right there with support. Great guy. I have not held the 3.5 in my hand, but I'm sure they are bullet proof like all the gas ones I have. Now that I'm dabbling in electric I think I'm gonna get myself one for xmass. I deserve it. LOL
