Old Classic Hydros 1/16 ABS round nose hydro kit

Ive had it 5-6 years, its about 60% built....got rebit by the FE bug again, now id like to finish it! I have no idea what a good all around motor/esc/battery combo would be for this boat, id like it to be reasonably fast, yet somewhat controllable....im just gonna run it for fun! I also wanted to find out from people that have built/run this boat if I need to do any mods to the boat to help it hold up and/or handle better BEFORE I attach the deck to the hull with slow set epoxy! I think im REALLY hooked on FE boats this time, as Santa is bringing me a 20 Whiplash to build as a Pspec Sport Hydro! I built/raced the nitro version of this boat for a few years and loved how well it ran! I sure appreciate any advice on my lil plastic round nose kit, as I just don't know much about ABS stuff! Thanks!

WOW! What a nice job you did on that boat! It really MOVES out! Your build thread is going to help me out a BUNCH! Ok, so I ordered the Ammo 36-50 motor, but I cant find the 70 amp ESC you used, so I wanted to know if the Aquacraft 60 amp marine ESC would be enough for the same basic set up?? I REALLY want to get this boat finished and in the water!! Any input/advice you can offer would be GREATLY appreciated!

The 60 amp esc will be just fine ... the 70 amp esc was bought years ago used.
