    New P-Limited Cat hull.....

Recently one of my club members won a Panther cat hull at a race, and he decided to set it up as a P-Limited Cat. This is an old design years out of production. The first race we saw immediately that this is one fast cat with great handling! Hyperformance Products had the molds (originally a Maus hull) and the might be persuaded to build more of these. Another option for P-Limited Cat and P-Limited Offshore; pic and video below.

Maus used to make some good hulls.

The attachment (assuming a picture?) isn't showing up...

          Looks like the old NiCat.
"Looks like" maybe, but it is completely different; ~30" long with completely different bottom shape. The ~22" NiCat was a shameless splash of one of Ed Hughey's wooden hulls - the Panther is not.

The photo in post #1 has been fixed.....

I would defenitely consider a Panther if made available.

If anyone wants one they should contact Hyperformance Products in Cali. They had the moulds for the Panther and the NiCat at one time but no longer have the hulls on their site. I have no connection to the company, just passing on info. Maybe Tony can check.....

I took a few minutes ,and sent an e-mail. Asked about the moulds,if they'd consider a run of some hulls, and let them know there's an interest in them. We'll see.If Tony wants to get ahold of them ,I'm sure it would help.
                          If,and when I get a response,I'll post any updates.

My Drag hydro I am in process of building is done by Hyperformance and Dave is a great guy to deal with. I have no doubts if he still has the moulds he would be willing to do a run... DJ
