    rudder setback

is there any benefit to having the rudder set back this far?
this pic is the boat for sale in the swap shop
I am working on a micro cat that is going to have way to much power and want to know if this extra long rudder set back would help control it
The Manx has been sitting dormant, but I think I finally have my motivation back. I hope to see it float soon.

I always thought an extended rudder would give more stability and leverage for turning.

I meant the extended rudder should give more leverage to turn the hull, not make it easier for the servo to turn the rudder.
Like on a cat hull with counter rotating props that is hard to turn or a mono hull that needs more stability.
I guess it could also make it easier to raise or lower the bow by changing the rudder angle on an extended rudder.

A longer rudder would accomplish the same things.

          my 2 cents worth.

I am not worried about turning I am looking for stability as I am putting two yes two 3550 kv outrunners in a 16" cat
