Hi Flraptor It does have gear box, but mostly use 3-4 gear only . I run Burris treaded dirt tires, we did very well last time out two heat wins starting from the front and the back . And we won the main event, I must say i had a awesome driver filling in for me Kurt Burris of Burris Tires. This thing has a awesome sound!! .

I am going to add some Closed Cell Foam to my Sea-Fire-Boat . There's not much captive area in front of the boat hatch, and it only add a few Grams of weight. I have lived by the water all my life, love fast boats Sail or Power Boats as long as it's fast. After I stopped DragBike Racing I need a new thrill ride. And Gokart Racing fit the bill, so I built this one from scratch. Rc boating is a very fun deal

I use these for all my RXs. http://www.offshoreelectrics.com/pro...p?prod=dh-3628 I submerged one in a 5gal. bucket for a week and had no water in it. Hi Flraptor I bought a the RX-Box . Being a new to boats, I have question on RX-Antenna’s . With RX in box mounted, Antenna would not be long enough to reach out side of the hull in to Billet Antenna-Mount in too the plastic Antenna tube. I have look at some of the phone pages for boat on this Web-Page. With some showing no Antenna visible. Paul

If you have a fiberglass hull you probably won't need the antenna to exit the hull. I uaually mount my Rx box where I have enough to get the antenna to the antenna holder if I can. If you have a Carbon Fiber hull, you will deffinetly need the antenna to exit the hull or you'll have problems. What radio system are you using?

Flraptor07 Hi my hull is fiberglass, What i ended up doing was using a piece tape. Too attach the Antenna parallel/horizontal to lip on the hatch opening. I plugged batt's in and walked to other end of the house, out of line of sight and RX responded . So I think it will ok, I want get my little boat RX bound, and grease the shaft and take it out today or Friday. Thanks

Go to Walmart and and get some Rust-Oleum LeakSeal. Other places may have it too. It comes in a can or spray. I used the can so may dip my Rx. Its easy to do and it can be removed but it's pretty tough to remove but it can be done as it's a flexible clear rubber coating. It's watertight and paintable even. You get a lot of it for $9

              ~Peace.

This stuff is really great. Using a toothpick was able to apply on both sides of PiStix as it already has shrink tubing over it which is great for water proofing already. This stuff is so easy to apply and holds well but still removable and it's flexible enough to last a long time and it's made for water sealing. It will never crack. I tried to remove as a test and it's kinda tough but you can. You can dip or just drip it over whatever needs to be water sealed. Enjoy.
