The arming sequence is different then the Aqua ESC...
not sure if you did it properly, if you did disregard the following
      here we go:

Tx on with TRIGGER AT MAX
hook up batts let the first sequence of beeps end
Then PUSH TO FULL REVERSE let the sequence of beeps end
Then PUT IT IN NEUTRAL let the sequence of beeps end

then once the whole beeping is over it'll be armed and you'll never have to
do this again unless you upgrade the firmware or change the Tx.
If you use more then 3 lipo cells you'll need a receiver pack and also disconnect the RED wire on the ESC cable... I usually buy an extension and cut the red wire on one side to avoid damaging the ESC cable.
BEWARE!!! ONCE THE BATTERIES ARE HOOKED, THE ESC WILL GO THRU SHORT ARMING BEEPS AND THEN IT IS ARMED AND THE PROP IS READY TO SPIN!!!

just lift the little tab and pull the red wire out of the connector then just slide it back in if you need to use it
