DF33 or similar hull or 42" cat

Several of the guys in our local club are running the DF33 hull. I am thinking of building one to run against these guys. Outside of the DF33 the only other comparable hull that I know much of anything about is the Seaducer 33. What other hulls are out there that I might consider?

My other option is to buy and build a 42" cat hull that is available right now for a great price.

Im running a titan 40 and love it. A guy in our club Paul Rollins has a DF 33 and Speeds are pretty equal. Dad Titan 29 is faster but cant stay in the throttle in race water as much.

Yeah she's a bit loose, and I like it like that!!

Loose if fast, you just have to manage the throttle. I'm still learning.

I have a titan 29 and a df 33. I have got them both into the upper 40s mph. The df is much more stable, the titan seems to want to fly at that speed. Both are great boats and a lot of fun to drive.
