    Laser Cut Tunnel Kits??????

I'm ready for a fresh build and am really digging an FE Tunnel.
I would like to know if there are any laser cut wood kits out there. I've seen the MLboatworks Kneeler tunnel, and im sure it performs well, but not a fan of the looks.

if anyone can point me in the rite direction i would sure appreciate it.
never built one from plans only, would look down this road also.

I've got a brand new swordfish 220 pro plus esc, and a leopard 3674 2650 motor laying around that I aim to use for this build.

Any help or guidance I can get would be greatly appreciated!
    Thanks

Sam, M&L also did a really nice tunnel. Mike sold the rights to it, but if you contact him I do believe he can get you one of those kits. Its the same as the one in my avatar ... DJ

That boat is gorgeous! How do you like it?
Mind sharing the specs of that hull and your set up and results?
Yours was in fact a kit, not just the plans?

      Thanks DJ!

Yw Sam, yes it was a complete kit. Call Mike at M&L I think he is in shop after 4pm est. Great guy to deal with too. I have had several of his kits along with numerous buddies of mine and not one complaint, other than dang I want another one now :) here is a short vid of me playing around with my PS295 I'm only running a stock UL-1 motor (2030kv) on 4S, its a fast and stable hull ... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j7Pc...Xvpm2A&index=3

Nice boat DJ. I like it!. I'm still a couple weeks out before I can pull the trigger, so I PM'd him here to touch base with him.

            montymike-
I have built a couple Zippkits boats, but last I knew, the only tunnel they have is 1/4 scale.
            Thanks for the tip tho!!

                  Thanks Mr. Jordan
Beautiful hull there as well. How does one find the kits that are around? Most from what i can tell are buying a built hull, I would like to buy the the laser cut parts and build it myself. I did some searching on Mr. Flynn and don't come up with anything about how to buy a kit from him.

                  Thanks again everyone

                      Hello Sam,

I am coming over to your side of the world next week to race outboards at the second bihhest outboard race in the world (only by boat count). I will be racing a full fleet of my Dragons while I am there (Tampa, Florida), including an FE version.

When I get back from that trip (which includes some SAW racing in LA the following weekend) I will habe a week or 2 break then get back into finalising my kit, as far as $$ and talking to a company State side to supply my kits :-)

Darin has done a great job with his Dragon.

I will habe better shots of my fleet after I get them back together this time next week in the USA :-)

Hi Kris, thanks for the reply. I'm guessing Darrin had something to do with that lol. Sounds like you are a busy man! Also sounds like a hell of a good time! Good luck with everything!! The timing will be about perfect as I wont be ready to pull the trigger for at least a month or so. Also would not be against trying one from plans only, but i worry about what to do for a cowl. Any how, will keep in touch.

I suppose if I grew a pair and just bought the plans for your hull I could handle that cost rite now! Intriguing!
