I cant even make a long post or start a new thread that may include some links that i have to look up during writing the thread. i go and grab a sandwich from the fridge, come back and logged out........like 5 minutes or so. I it just me?

It's happened to me before. For long stuff like builds I usually write it in MS Word and when I'm ready I cut and paste. It's the dead time from last key stoke I think that the time out starts, not sure on the actual time. I'm sure there is good reason why this is done but, I'm no super computer geek.Nortavlag Bulc

I have been logged in for MonthsThe only way for me to log out, is to click the log out button, (top right), and I never do. Unlike other forums where I post, where it's best to compose FIRST with notepad if it is longer than 2 sentences, then cut, and paste it, here at OSE, there is *auto-save*. Sorry I don't have an answer for you, but I think the problem is on your end.

With the auto-save feature, I have fallen asleep at my desk while posting, lol, (us old people need our naps) and used the auto-save to resume my post, an hour, or so later, ain't tech technology grand.Comment
