    Water discharge issue

I installed a Kenetic Dual Water Rudder on my Traxxas Spartan. Ran all new waterlines through fittings in transom, then to ESC and Motor, then out each side thru sides of hull. They put out water upto about half throttle, after that up to full speed they put out no water, I slow down and they start pouring water. Never heard of this before, can you offer some ideas?

Is the motor or ESC hot after a full pack run? If not they are working. At higher speeds the discharge turns into a spray that is hard to see.

If it was a hard full pack run you are good.

Putting out no water might not be that accurate....on several of my boats, at slower speeds, you can see the water exiting...but as the speed increases, the water gets "flattened down" by the wind force, so it "appears" no water is coming out.

When going full speed in my spartan it blows out into a mist and its very hard to see. If your temps are still ok after a hard 6S run then chances are that there is water going through the system.

Both water lines are clear from the back to the outlet. No obstructions, have to try it again, if its not working after that, I might try to drill out the Rudder intakes. But, like postings said, just might not be able to see the mist. When I run it, and I dont see water coming out, I will keep monitoring the temps, that will tell all.

What are your temps? 6s I assume?
Why are you bothering me? I want to see your boat!

I had a hard time confirming the outflow of the rear output in real time with the naked eye. A fast lens showed that it was good

Do the holes in the rudder come all the way to the end? If not then you have the same issue the original Spartan rudders had.
