    Carbon Fiber Inlay

    Considering doing a CF inlay to one of my cats after race season. Hull is a BJ 29. Can anyone recommend which size/weight mat would be sufficient?? Not looking to end up with a brick ,but more strength,and durability is the goal.Thanks ahead guys.

            Greatly appreciate the help. This ebay seller has a neat kit in red CF it's 2 x 2 twill 14" x 36" http://www.ebay.com/itm/100-Real-Red...item5b02716244 is this the same weight material as the link you posted above ?? Thanks again

              Yes. I have some of that. It's not as easily contoured as the full carbon. If very very hard to cut unless you have kevlar scissors. Here's what it looks like in a daytona I did a while back.....

              This is dry...before epoxy...




              And this is wetted out. It gets alot darker.....most colored fabrics do this...
