    advice for lower unit purchase

New to rc boating. In a group of old time rc aircraft buddies and we got started with boats this Spring. Started w/ Mini Monos and now playing w/ Mini Sprints. Easing in to some larger rigs and a couple of us want to try a 30" ish 4S outboard. Reading here it looks like the OS unit is solid but I'm wondering about the Hyperdrive and TFL units. Any good? Thanks in advance for any suggestions!

OS would be my preference, more adjustability. All of them a pretty good with their own few differences, Not crazy about the circlips on the composite one, can't remember the name. They work well but getting the steering pin in and secured is a job for a midget with triple jointed fingers if it is installed on the boat.
I currently an running a K&B 3.5 lower with a home made mount/hinge setup that I sort of stole and modified from the OS style. Can change the angle of the motor now without changing the angle of the pivot point.
If my boats upside down then who owns the one I thought I was driving the last two laps?

Thanks for the input, just ordered the Hyper Performance 3.5, UL-1 motor and UL-1/SV27 cooling jacket here on OSE each for my buddy and I.

The OS unit goes through the water and handles better than all the rest. Better adjustments and the prop shaft is where it outperforms everything else. It lasts 3 times longer and the prop spins true and straight. Add the cost of 2-4 prop shafts in your purchase of K&B or Hyperformance.
