    Water entry through stuffing tubes

I have a MHZ 185 with MBP click drives and a lot of water entering the hull from the stuffing tubes. I grease the snot out of the flex and shoot a lot of grease in the drive set screw hole. But still getting a lot of water entering the boat from the stuffing tube. What do you guys do to limit the water? Thanks

quick fix strech some silicone hose over the stuffing tube, and if needed use a wire tire to seal it over the shaft it will not cause enought friction to matter

The aeromarine flex shaft seal works well...

auto vacuum nipples with hole in center. Glue on stuffing tube and run cable thru it for a nice seal.

Then the other way with silicon tubing? Just to where it touches the cable. Or you have water coming in to your strut from the front. Wire drive are not as bad as cables on this.
