    Capacitors on eletric motor?

Hey guys swapping a Duratrax VR3 into my Mini Rio - it comes w/o any capacitors on it. However, on my Mini Rio stock motor its got a cap from the black terminal to the motor housing and the red terminal to the motor housing....

    Why?

Should I put the caps on the new motor? No? Yes? Help!

Yup, You need them to surpress noise generated by the motor. This will help to minimize radio glitches.

If I remember right there are 3 - you also need one across the + and - terminals for a brushed motor.

Hm ok so I will transfer them

Do they go from each terminal to the motor body?

I only see two on the stock motor

Got 0.1uf cap from each terminal to the body of the motor... where does a third cap go? Between terminals? Rio doesn't have this stock!
