    Suggestions for next boat?

I am considering the boats that are fairly ready to run, (maybe receiver ready boats) that 1) have good hardware and 2) come with the driveline already setup. I am 20+ getting back into R/C boating and the new brushless thing (computing motor and esc combos) are still a little new for me. I have my modified minimono (upgraded motor, driveline, and esc) and am loving it.

Here is what I am thinking about:

Revolt 30 (if I can find one)
    Outer Limits
    Smash Shark
    Genesis
    TFL Popeye
    UL-1/Miss Seattle
maybe one of the Exceed boats.
I am also open to the idea of an RTR boat that is already fast but lends itself to be modded.

My hull choice is fiberglass, and my main criteria is just a single motor. I'd really like to be running 6s, but a fast 4s is ok too. I am thinking I can justify $500 plus some money for the 4 batteries I'll be needing to buy (two sets of two). Tell me what you think. Cats, monos, hydros are all on the table. I don't have a GPS, but I am looking for at least in the above 50 mph for speed range and I'd prefer to not have to go swimming for it every other run.

the motley crew and Lucas oil cats are really nice RTR boats, that are pretty good out of the box, can get some decent speed from just a prop upgrade, and a motor speedo prop upgrade can get you really good speed and these boats handle pretty well too.

      Hi Sobie2
We have a new clubbie that has just got a Smash Shark. It goes well enough to surprise with the speed it gets from the motor(2070kv)/prop(438) that comes with it. He has a turnigy 120A esc and turnigy blue 5000mah batts. Don't discount a Pursuit either, they are a great hull and handle real well.

        Pete.
Tell your guy to put a 440/3 blade on it. It worked well on one of the guys in our club.
I've had a 645 prop swinging off those little motors in the Outer Limits & they can take it. But he would need a bigger ESC for that one though.

The Ariane 2 is a great 6s boat as well.
See the danger. THEN DO IT ANYWAY!!!

Thanks I will check out the Ariane 2 ($450 for the CF though) and the Pursuit too. I thought the Motley Crew and Lucas oil cats were abs though. I'll look them up.

Peter NZMPBA? New Zealand I have spent a lot of time all over NZ and got hooked on NZ style jet boating there.

I will look at the suggested boats too.

Haven't got a 440/3, one of the props I'm missing, I have a 437/3, and 20 or so others up to 447/3, we'll try them as he gets confident enough, he hasn't turned a complete wot lap yet.
