New Twin Cat Build -> Need Help

    I have a Vhull with a Leo 4082 1600kv...

I would like to get into a twin setup and I think I found a hull with hardware. Can I just get another 4082 - 1600 to make a twin or is there a reason I should not use this motor? is the KV wrong or something? I do not know enough

Secondly, I do not know if the kit comes with hardware installed and I am not confident enough to do it myself on such an expensive project. Is there any active guy on these forums who is maybe a rep or something who has good experience with boat (hopefully twin) builds who sells his building services???

Thanks for any and all help

Keith Bradley on here does builds for a lot of people, he has a website and everything.

Thing is we need to know the size of the hull to be of more help. Twin 1600kv 4082 on 6s is fantastic in a cat that can handle it, say anything 40-45 inches. Its a lower kv setup but is very reliable and will allow you to experiment with props a lot. 3 years ago I bought 4082 leopards 1600kv and they're still great.

I am looking at this kit

Not sure of brand but looks like the fightercat and Delta Force. 35 inches.

What do you guys think of this kit?

But I am fairly certain (although the pics show it together) that this thing comes all unassembled... if that is the case... I am screwed and need help. is 35" too small for dual Leo 4082? What would be the drawback?

Of course I want it to be fast... but my main concern is run time... I want best run times I can get while still maintaining decent speed.

Thanks for that link.. and yes... it would appear that it DOES come assembled like the pictures.

Now (since I know I am running Leo 4082 - 1600kvs) I am trying to find out what size hull is best... poster above said 40-45.. so is this 35 too small for this build? I'd rather the electronics be running cool and efficiently than having to work hard.
