The way I do hatch locks, should I do a batch of them ?

Hi all. I recieved some positive feed back on the way I do my hatch locks. I was thinking of buying the items I use in bulk so I can bring the cost down to those who want the hatch lock system I devised in my Aeromarine Team Believer With Updated Hatch Build Thread. The last thing I want to do is sell things to members here that would normally buy things from financialy contributing members and OSE. I would be more than happy to put together some kits for those who are interested as long as there is no conflict. In guessing that after I buy in bulk 4 hatch locks should cost around $15 to the door. You may need hatch spacers and those are extra $..They are very strong clips , I have seen these style clips used in many applications in the motorcycle and automotive industries . The bolt is a 5mm stainless , nylon washer and rubber washer pretty low teck but hard to beet. You will need a Allen wrench :)

Not all hatches are the same so there would be price differences on the bolt length . The $15 is for 1" 5mm . Hatch spacers extra.

I use the same clip nuts but I use
these because they don't need a wrench.
they are aluminum. 20mm long , 9mm dia head

Sounds good ! Let me know the hatch depth in the areas you want to put them so I can get the correct length bolts and spacers. We can go pm if you want.

Hey all I went down and picked up some items. I switched over to 8-32 threads in the exact style clip as the 5m I used on my cat plus 8-32 is what I use on all my custom stuff. I bought a sack of stainless washers that have the rubber side on them for simplicity. The cost is now cheaper and simpler. The nylon spacers are recommended so it sandwiches the washer good.
