O.K here is my 2c worth.
Recently this whole thing went on over at rrr and to be honest it pi$$ed me off.
I was told many years ago by a senior engineer that opinions are like ar$eholes, everyone has one, you may not like the look of it but that is how it is, get over it.
I use forums for gathering and sharing information not snide remarks or $hit slinging. There can be a lot of fun on forums too.
Now down to OSE.
The main thing I love about most of the community here is that you are very welcoming to my sometimes unusual and possibly antiquated ways. As the astute of you are aware I still use brushed cans and Ni cells.
when I began in FE over a year ago on another forum I was met with derision and constantly told that BL and lipo was the go, and nothing else mattered.
Well that IS BOLLOCKS !!
You have seen that I can have a lot of FUN with a very low budget, after all this is a hobby and is supposed to be fun.
When I found this site I felt welcomed and supported by what I call the "big players" with the 6-10S lipos and Neu motors in CF hulls pulling 60+mph.
I could easily have felt like the little guy and been scared off but that was not so.
Most of the guys here are very polite and understanding of the way I approach this hobby, and I thank you for that.
I will continue to read about the great water ripping Nue powered CF monsters and enjoy what I read, damm it my screen saver is a 40"+ rooster tail spitting rocket that I will never have but I like it.
I love brushed and may go BL one day
What sort of batteries did Joerg have in his rigger when he blew 140mph ?????

We are all here because we like to play with toy boats.
There are much bigger things in life to get your ar$e out of shape.

Andy I do not want to spoil the nice friendly chit chat the guys are having here so I will make my comments to you on the "For andym" thread
And I keep my rants in the appropriate forums. Remember what Rodney said: "Can't we all just get along?"
