Ok guys. I have a hornet f1. I'm new to electric. Always had gas tunnels. I have a brand new 70amp hobby king esc I want to use. And a kb outboard leg. Everything is done except figuring out what motor to use. I'm looking for a motor to match up to to the esc without the risk of a melt down . I have been looking for a website that explains in detail doing this. Found one that says watts divided by volts of the battery will give you the amps of the esc needed. When do the math it makes absolutely no sense. I also would like info on winds kv watts etc on the motor and what they mean. Basic explanation of RC boat electronics and set up. Can any one point me in the right direction.
