Motor weight Q
thinking to switch motors in a hydro and need to get a feel for how much of a change I need to do, so. how does the weight of a 700sc compare to a sv motor? tia

I just happen to have my scale and some motors laying here. OK, so my desk is a dump. Anyway the sv motor weighs 8.2 oz and the 700 weighs 13.1 oz. -

? don't think I've see the top of mine for the past 15 yrs!(I do my building on the drainboard of the kitchen sink). hmmm thats encouraging, I might even get the boat to balance...
