    Underwater prop view in action

    Someone started a thread on RCGroups on using his GoPro to see an underwater view of a model boat prop in action.

    Interesting how the prop wash isn't much larger than the diameter of the prop itself until it's much further behind the boat. I wonder what speed that was at.

      That is a great shot. I wonder if one could get that mounted to the hull and get some shot of the 'wind up'.

        Mount the GoPro on the end of a dowel and you should be able to get a bottom or side view.

              Me and Mr. V actually discussed something like this a while back to see if he could improve hydrodynamics on a strut.... Lol
