My son brought to my attention that a regular dx2 radio was faster than his dx3s. He's done more gps testing than me...if you can believe that! Anyway the other day he proved it to me. We ran his car with his dx3s and it was slower than it was with his cheap radio. Throttle was calibrated too btw. So I put the throttle travel up to 150% and then the car went the fastest it ever did. Then just now we went ran his car with my dx4s and it was the same thing. It wouldn't spin the tires until I upped the throttle percentage. Now my thought is, would this be possible with my boat? I have a t180 esc and I did calibrate the throttle but I wonder if this is just something these digital radios do? I was planning on running the boat today but it's storming so now I just have to sit here and wonder about it. ...that's why I posted...to see if anyone experienced this?

I run all mine with the throttle percentage @ 150%, that adjustment is for say you're racing SCT and you're on a real tight course you can dial it down for better throttle control. My Futaba radio is the same way except it only goes to 120% -
I wonder if mine makes a diff??? lol
I bet once put some real AAs' in the TX it will go farther, at least I hope. Why are you bothering me? I want to see your boat!
