    neu motors question

Still learning here my questions are a neu 1521 1y is 1577 kv so on 6s would be approx.34,694 rpm correct? and a 1527 1.5d is 1500 kv on 6s would be approx. 33,000 rpm correct ? so would that make much of a difference speed wise in my 43" Aeromarine conquest cat ? so which would be the best for speeds in the 70's what about a 1527 1y 1250 kv? was told in my other post for speeds in the 70s use the 1527 so how about it thanks in advance for any and all opinions

The best way do do speeds in the 70's with the 1500 series neu motors with that boat are twin setups. Unless you are a top setup master and like top of the line electrics I would consider a bigger motor that's going to have more torque with less amp draw.

don't run either of these in a conquest on 6S its not enuf power for this hull, a 15271.5Y on 10S or a 1530 1Y on 8S. or a Castle 2028 on 10S would really be the ticket though!!!

With a 1527 1250kv, you may get close or even get to your goal....but that motor may run a little hot. I had one In a 37" cat on 8s. It was probably a little faster than 70 but the temps were mid to high 120's. I'd recommend at least a 1530 for a little head room if your gonna run a single. I actually have a motor, cooler, esc, collet, flex and motor mount that will do what you want and I can make you a good deal on it. Pm me if interested

You could use the neu motor, or even 1717 castle motors. The 1717 will save you some money they can be had for a good price on ebay and with twins, 70+ is no problem at all.

I know a guy who has twin 1717 in his conquest and the boat is a 60 mph solid runner on 6s, he has 100's of runs with it using T180's. You can go up to 8s with 1717's.

I have run this boat on twin neu 1521 1y motors and it runs fine. but i would like to get just a tad more speed that is why i asked about the 1527 motors 1.5 d, or, 1y, or what and all i have are 6s batteries

You need higher kv motors for 6s .
