I love how scale it is! I think I would add some led lights and some good props and leave it at that. I think duel brushless boat is the better looking hull also.

If I had the money I would buy the 1:5 scale it cost $2050 shipped to your door and its a model so you still need to build it to work in water.

Are you having fun with it and how is the boat holding up?

I've put the two new motors in it, but she displays the same problems as the ones on the videos in the link you posted.
The bow wave at low speed rides up the hull & curls over into the cockpits. & it banks over too much in the turns.
I added some spray chines along the water line which deflected the bow wave to some extent.
