The newer TP motors are 39.5 mm cans.

Unless you find different o-rings that will fit the Leopard jacket.

Not that I'm aware of, but why don't you just change out the fittings? You could drill out and tap to fit larger ones.

Depends on what size fittings you use. Not sure what you have. You could pick up a new pair, Kintec has a good selection.

By the way, I never had an issue with the stock fittings on the TP jackets...

The 5mm 90 degree fittings from Kintec require a 5mm x 80mm tap with a 11/64 drill bit. If you're using the TP Power cooling can with the angled inputs you'll need to separate (unscrew) the two parts of the 90 deg fitting to allow it to screw into the cooler, then re-attach (screw back in) the "barb" piece.

HRC has jackets for TP motors, much better than the TP jackets. http://www.hrc-mfg.com/ If you don't see it on his site, Email him. He's on the forum a lot too and his shop is here in Bradenton Fl. I can get ahold of him if need be.

I've never had problems with the water jackets, but here's something to watch out for.
I've had a couple of motors where the grub screws holding in the rear end bell have been screwed in so far that they are lower than the inside of the can & if you don't have a thrust bearing the endbell pops out & the motor flogs itself to bits. It happened to a 4070 1440kv motor & the replacement motor had the same problem. But I fixed it before mounting it in the boat. I didn't notice it on the first one.
                          Just something to check guys.
See the danger. THEN DO IT ANYWAY!!!

An engineering supply shop should be able to help you out with getting some o rings to work. I had to do this with the TP cooler as the supplied o rings were not the correct size, has worked fine.
