What's the top speed record for a Titan 29 ???

Just curious who had the highest recorded speed on a T29 with out it blowing out of the water. I don't want too push my Titan anymore than I have too. I read a while back a fella got his up to 62 mph but he crashed it a lot , gps record count as long as your confident of its accuracy. I'm going to run mine tomorrow with a pretty hot setup but my goal is to keep it on the water . Let's have fun some fun now !

I got a steady 50 mph and stable... Although I'm sure it had more in it.

One of the advantages of the T29 is it's ability to perform well on limited power, this due to significant hull lift. From many year's experience of many boaters, it it tough to keep a Titan 29 on the water reliably over about 50 mph on anything but calm flat water. The hull simply has too much lift to stay down. Sure it is possible to make SAW passes at higher speeds, but blow overs will be common. Adding weight to offset lift is one way to raise speeds, but that has problems too. If one wants higher speeds there are much better hulls to use.

            .
Agree . The main I like this boat( my third T29) is the efficient way it runs and the build room. It's a fairly tough boat too. Over speeding it is the challenge in it and things get exciting at 50+

That's one of the best running T29's I have seen. You should have kept it I agree. The fun factor is really good with them. It had really good acceleration and handled that water great
