    Rocketcityracing pull the plug?

    Been trying to hit up Rocketcityracing but haven't been able to get the site up for a few days now. Anyone heard any news?

      Can't get the laptop to pull it but the desktop did after about 5 minutes of searching. Here's the response;

      Website Update
      August 1st we decided to upgrade our shopping cart to a new platform with many new features that will be added value for our customers. But in making this upgrade it has basically turned into a nightnmare with our new webserver host. This new cart has not done well with this server and most of the time the site became very slow or not working at all.
      Today 8/12, we made a major change to a new different server and now the site is coming back on line as the DNS resolves itself. Hopefully it will function like it should.
      For you the Customer, if you have purchaed from us since January of this year all of your email addresses, order history and customer data has been transferred to this new site. . Please if you have purchased previously, use your existing account and if you have problems please contact us so we can get you online.
      To access your account all you need to do is use the password recovery tool.
      We thank you for being patient during this transition and in the very near future we will have some added incentivites for you.

          Think they are redoing the site, I can get it to load but it's really slow and it looks different.

          Edit: Ah beat me to it while I was typing lol

              A little update.. This change has been a real struggle.. The new shopping cart has a lot of new features built in when compared to the previous site. it will make it much easier to process orders and to follow through with all the processes to complete the order and in keeping in contact with the customer. But it changing to a new host this has put the site down from 24-48 hours while the nameservers adjust to the new location.. Then we discover that this first server and host have a hard time time keeping the site running with those resources.. We now change to another host and server that has greater experience with this shopping cart. Now were down another 24-48 hours. Please be patient, we have the developers working on the site trying to optimize for faster load times.
