Hydra 120
I know that castle creations doesnt make this ESC anymore , but i was able to find one that was brand new. I got to run my new boat a few weeks back (JAE 21 outrigger ,3674 leopard motor , 4s 5000mah 50c lipo , Hydra 120 esc) and it ran fast. Carried it out yesterday and first run was fast but acted like battery went down quick. brought it in and took the cover off and found that a hole had burnt through the clear heat shrink around it. Smells like electrical fire to me as far as the burn . Has anyone had one of these ESC's with good luck out of them? I am going to contact castle creations and see if they can repair it. Hate to know that i paid 170.00 and it lasted one time out . Any ideas as to what type of esc i should look at buying if they cant repair this one ? thanks for the help!!!!
