    Setting up ProBoat ESC

I'm sorry if I posted this in the wrong forum, mods please move if this is in the wrong place.

I'm trying to set up my proboat 60amp esc. I bind the receiver and controller and esc, but only the steering works. I guess I'm a little behind the times at setting up electronic speed controllers. I'm using a Futaba 3PL 3-Channel radio.

When I turn on the receiver and esc I do not get any beeps, nada, nothing. There is power to the receiver because the steering works.

If someone can let me know what I'm doing wrong I would greatly appreciate it.

switch your servo reverse for the throttle and see if that works

you may have to push instead of pull the trigger

Thanks for the reply Revoltrunner!!!! I tried what you said, but still nothing. I'm beginning to think this esc is defective, or I'm doing something wrong.

did you fully charge your batteries before trying to use it.
your batteries may be below the low voltage cutoff.

Good news.......charged the batteries plugged everything in, pulled the trigger and the motor came to life. BUT, the motor only turns on in certain positions of the throttle trigger....ie...barely pull the trigger, motor turns on. Pull the trigger all the way back, nothing, nada, zip. Half throttle, some times the motor turns on, some times it doesn't.

Now I'm really stumped. I've messed with the settings on the controller, but doesn't seem to help.

you may have to adjust your throttle trim and endpoint
settings. after that I'm out of ideas.
