So, just go my new T180 from offshore. Right away I noticed it felt heavier. Sure enough it is. Odd in that is physically much smaller. I wonder what's in it? Here is what I see so far.
1. Much smaller looking capacitors. (not sure if it is good or bad, just noting it)
2. They have put some capacitors on the inbound wires with the new one.
3. The newest one is much more compact and it will fit perfectly even in a rigger.
4. Looks like they have really worked on making waterproof as possible. Much better than the old ones.
We will see how it performs over time. I have pictures of all three generations v1, v2, v3. Mainly because they almost never have failed on me.
The oldest esc in the picture below I used in a 6s Q hydro for racing and it still works fine including the BEC.
