Hi all im at my witts end spending the last 3 months trying to get the Swordfish 200 + esc and TP 40x90 motor to run in this mono .IM installing a Seaking 120 amp esc and a Aquacraft 36-56 2030kv motor on 4s 2p lipo set up. I realize in may be under powering this hull . What diameter props would possibly work on this set up? Regards Andris Golts.

Hi
That's a dead nuts reliable Aquacraft UL-1 power system. now if this were going in a 30" catamaran, I'd say the m445 prop. since you're dropping this I'm a 30" mono, I think the x447 or 440/3 blade would be a great place to start. if you want to try something a little bit warmer the next step up would probably be a x452.

Wow, I would not run an x452 on that motor in my FE-30 hydro, let alone a "large" mono. Even the m445 would be stressing the setup in the mono if you wanted more than a couple minutes of run time. Even though it is small, I'd try an x440 first. That hull is often powered by a .21 nitro motor, and the x440 and x442 are good .21 mono props. If you want to run a limited motor in there, a 1500 to 1800 Kv version would be safer, and just as fast with the right prop.
What problems were you having with the TP setup?

Sorry fluid, I did mention that if this was a catamaran I would run the m445. after double checking the specifications your right on the .452, my bad. I thought it was under 2.0" but its 2.05". Although they run great on a 30" inch villain mono along with the venerable .447's. Since you brought it up, perhaps the 440/3 blade would get it done ?. We see a lot of guys her running them on their mono's with great success...

I've been running a 440/3 on my Performance International pltd sport. I'm running the ul-1 combo and its pulling my venom 3800mah 35c packs down to exactly 20% after each run. Im going to try a few other props but I think if u try a x440/3 you'll be very happy. Also find a prop chart and play around with the options around a x440/3 who knows you may find a n940 runs better or something else crazy XD.Tommy Levescy sponsored by: RCJuice.com, Rawspeed, Scorpion Precision Performance, TC Racing, Triton RC, Oxidean Marine and Cencal Hobbies.
