    Low Voltage Cutoff

    FYI

For years I have been reading about a problem with the motor spinning for a second and stopping. It would usually happen during their initial setup, while it was still on the bench. It happened to me.

It turned out to be the controller Low Voltage Cutoff had the wrong setting. I guess it could also be a loose battery connection or discharged batteries.

How do you mean? You mean a seperate LVC or built-in esc LVC? What brand is it? Is this on brushed motor/esc or BL? sorry for all the questions but what you state does scare be a bit but I am usually carefull to "CLEAR PROP" before any voltage is applied.

I should have given more detail.

motor spinning for a second and stopping
This did not happen until I was gave it some throttle. It was caused by an incorrect LVC setting in the ESC.
