I don't have any twins myself but a hull that size and weight doesn't need 10,000 watts of motors to make it hiss like a snake... Two of the Neu 1515 1Y would be plenty. but if you want facts there is a calculator program that you can plug in the variables and it will get you real close. I usually go 800 watts a pound running weight and when I push the setup its always on the edge... So any more than that and you end up with a boat that is difficult to control usually spend more time retrieving a tossed boat then anything else

The OP is talking about 2215 motors, not 2230 motors....op, two 2215 motors is still a little unnecessary. Do two 1527 or 1521 motors. That would push that hull well. I had a 1527 in a shocker and it was easily over 70mph on 8s. Two of those puppies would be beast.
        32" carbon rivercat single 4s 102mph, 27” mini Rivercat 92mph, kbb34 91mph, jessej micro cat(too fast) was

i think his point is, that if one 2230 will push it to 70, then twin 2215 is more than necessary and probably a bit much.

2215 motors are wasted on 6S power. Several club members tried them in 6S hydros and soon replaced them with 1527s. The Conquest will work better on 1521 to 1527 motors. If you want to use easy to find L+R props (Octura x442, x447, x450/3 and x457) then choose the Kv based on the desired speed. If you want 70 mph then use the x457 props, 1527 sized motors with a Kv around 1500-1700 rpm/v.

Even twin 1515's with 447's will push the hell out of that boat.

With that long of a motor can length and the load the 43" cat hull will place on them you definitely want the stronger 8mm shafts. Even the 1521s I run have 8mm shafts in them, it's worth being patient and waiting for Steve to get the 8mm 1527s back in stock. Just my 1.3 cents (all 2 cents is worth these days).......

That's another good option, 8mm shafts and best of all IN STOCK. I've got one of those, stout motor!

Are you even vaguely familiar with rc boaters? I'm sorry, did you say "wait"? Mehehe

I've been playing with a Conquest for the 3rd summer now. Great handling boat.
After paying for the airbrushing I couldn't afford Nues so I went with twin Leo 4092 2y 1390kvs
I run her on 6s through T-180s. I run on a small lake, so she runs in the mid 60's. I run out of lake really fast.
I've posted some pix here. If you can get into my gallery the full build is posted.
                            Good luck,
