    3.5 Outboard motor leg?

I see several out there. At a glance they all seem to have their own positive attributes. Which one performs the best in the real world. I have been searching the interweb trying to find what the racers use to no avail.

The attribute you need to be most concerned with is the actual prop shaft and OS hands down is the best. The whole OS leg and mount are quality. Lawless can be obtained with threads for the OS shaft but you still need a mounting plate.

      Thanks Mic,

I don't believe I have seen the Lawless but have seen the OS unit. It looks nice but I am concerned about how the difference in the prop location as compared to my existing K&B will affect the setup/handling of the boat. I am experienced with tuning hulls with various types of inboard power but lack experience with outboards. Additionally I was hoping to find a quality unit that doesn't require an adapter for electric use. But performance is the main criteria. If I need an adapter to get the best performance so be it.

Does any body have the skinny on this unit sold by OSE? It looks simaler to the OS and does not require the adapter.
