    fantasm set ups?help

will this set up work-2x tp 4050 2220kv on 4cell using 180amp turnigy escs with 3/16 flex shaft and a 1.4 50 mm prop? speed calc says about 30,000 rpm and 58 mph. or will i snap a shaft with that much prop or blow up an esc from to much resistance? i want to be able to actually run a while not just do 2 minute saw runs.

or is this beter - 2x tp 4050 2220kv on 5cell using 180 amp turnigy esc's with 3/16 flex shafts and a 1.4 46mm prop? speed calc says about 37,000 rpm and 66mph. and could my esc's and motors handle that for 8 minute + runs?

any and all help is appreciated.thanks

The Fantasm doesn't really like large props. It runs better with a little higher RPM and smaller props. Also it's better suited for 6s + to keep the current in check....
1800kv motors on 6s is a fun setup.

I'd do the second setup. I don't really like that kv you have chosen either. It'll work but 1800ish kv will be better.

WOW rocstar that moves awsome!!! i went with 4050s 2220kv cause thats what don had bought for it and wouldnt seperate package when i purchased boat. that will defenantly be my next set up if this blows up on 5 cells.would a 1.4 46mm 3 blade prop be ok for 5 cell? or you think go smaller? and the last question i had was the rudder system it came with is a pull system with wires. it came with some cheesy would cut out glued to the plastic sheething on the wires to hold them in place. my question is do i have to even have something holding the sheething or will it work with out that? if so i will construct something out of carbon fiber. appreciate the help

I'm not sure about the props, I've never ran that setup before. If I were to try it, I would start with x442/2s.....x445s might be the ticket, but only a guess. I've also never used a scale rudder before, so can't be much help there, sorry man. I'm sure others will have some input.
