I'm pretty sure it's not a prather or a dumas. I've been running gas and nitro boats for a long time...If you post a picture in the nitro section of rc universe or International waters probably another old school nitro guy could identify it for you.

I have not been playing with electric for long. I have wasted money trying to save it while trying to convert my old nitro and gas boats on the cheap . Got frustrated and almost gave up on electric altogether. Your boat is right at the size where it starts to get expensive to do it right. I would put that boat up on the shelf and get yourself a smaller hull. Once you are used to this electric stuff then go forward with that bigger boat. You can do a small boat correctly for a fraction of the price of a larger one and it's a good way to cut your teeth. This is coming from someone who has learned the hard way...

This is the 46 inch prather on 6s as mentioned above. A bit underpowered but an interesting experiment.

Wow, you're right dave nothing moves out pretty good, I'm impressed. knowing my luck if that was me that ried that, something probably would have fried .

I have the shovelnose twin that came with Ricks 42" mono, but this ones only 36" long. For now it's a shelf queen but maybe this winter I'll try something similar to your setup just to see it go again .

It is probably a good system for your shovel nose. This is that same motor, esc, and battery on a 34 inch tunnel. I can just barely use full throttle . I really like outboards. If you look at some of the other videos we have up on youtube you can see some of the other things i'm playing with also.
