DHP marine esc 70a - how to calibrate throttle range

I have just purchased a Dragon Shark Mono-1. This has a DHP marine esc 70a. I am using a Futaba 3PM transmitter with it.

Does anyone know how to calibrate the throttle range on this ESC? According to the instructions (http://www.jperkinsdistribution.co.u...structions.pdf), the ESC has "auto throttle range" by default, but how does the ESC know what my max is?

Thanks... yes, seems like it's the same. Some of the Suppo escs have a "manual" throttle mode where the throttle range is set when entering and exiting the programming mode. Mine doesn't have that, though.

The FAQ describes a manual calibration here: http://www.suppomodel.com/faq.html . I don't know whether it applies to my ESC, though.

No calibration needed that I know of for Suppo's. This is a Suppo design esc.

But still, how does it know what the limits are? It's supposed to "remember" the min and max throttles seen from the receiver, but what if I change the radio system (which I have now)?
