I bought this outboard and have no idea who made it or how old I need to replace the bearings in the lower unit behind the prop any info would be a great help

Come on guys, wheres all the outboard gurus ?. the outboard itself is in real nice shape bull*!***!***!***!** you know and the motor that's on it is a 540 mill. he's trying to find out what size the bearings on the prop shaft are so he can replace them. there are no markings on the outboard. -

Thanks for the info any idea what size the bearings and where I can buy new ones also it's my intention to run this with a 3600 kv 380 motor and run it on 2s think it will work I'm going to mount it on a Dumas skivee 14" wood boat any idea what prop I should runComment

prop i would run something like x432 or 435. just me tho
