would be cool if you had a motor, batteries, esc, etc.... that were green to match the inside with the whole scheme of the boat. Amazing paint work, I would be afraid taping the hatch would pull the paint. make sure you let it cure about a month prior to putting tape on it. (thats what my friend who paints says it should be allowed to cure for anyway, your guy might say otherwise)The Manx has been sitting dormant, but I think I finally have my motivation back. I hope to see it float soon.

Got the Speedmaster HW installed, and the stuffing tube. I hope I got the motor placement correct as I'll be setting that in place next!
That motor is the Ammo 36-50-2300. It's just for mock-up, It's not going to power this boat (I think)

that deck design looks like you might want to make a tape in sub hatch, as taping will be a PITA. then latch the main hatch and now you don't have to worry about the piant pulling.

Top notch Danny! Makes you not even wanna grease the driveline in fear grease may sling onto it. Definately a one of a kind. I would also turn back to shore if I saw that thing heading out... just stand back and watch in awe. Nice score all around and as always nice clean build job.Comment

I've been working a bit on a small project that you actually inspired me to do, but mostly, life keeps getting in the way. There's a promotion at my work, that I didn't pursue. Only one guy is going for it, and he thought it was a sure thing. My boss called me to ask me why I didn't go for it. I told him that I didn't think I was qualified. He, in so many words, told me to go for it. If I'm correct in my assumption, If I do, I get it.
Anyway, The Mamba needs the motor mount installed, then the motor, ESC, and servo. I don't have a motor for her yet, so I am reluctant to install the mount because I want the CG to be right.
As for the Avanti inspired project, I took one of those mini hydro (oberto) hulls and I'm putting a HUGE 3 bladed prop on the back, with a great deal of help from my Friend Lonewolf!
