Aligator tours mini on 3s lipo?

I bought a "mini alligator tours and it runs ok but not real good over algae.
I'm thinking of trying a 3s lipo. Has any one tried this?
My thinking is if it burns out the esc I will go brushless. Thanks; Don

Use the Traxxas brushless system from mini e revo with 3s and hold on!
