This is a video of the 1st run with a neu 1515 1y in my df 33. I used a x 637 prop just to be safe on the first run. All temps were fine so I will try a x 640 next time. Gps said 47 mph and I'm sure with a different prop and some tuning I can get more out of it. I'm very pleased with the way the boat performed

I'm using 2 4s elite 4500s, a hydra 240 on normal setting, tabs are up right now but I will lower them to 0 deg to make it better in rougher water, strut is at 0 deg. I haven't had a chance to adjust anything yet, it was the first run.
Anyone have any ideas on adjustments based on what they saw in the video?Rico 29, Sprintcat 34, Insane FE 30 Hydro, 43'' Aeromarine ConquestComment

Depends on what your objective is. Will you be racing, fun running, SAW runs, etc. Each objective will have a different set of suggestions.
One comment I would make is that it really is not a great idea to keep running when you have somebody in a canoe/kayak that close to you. Anything goes wrong and you might have a situation on your hands. And if you either a NAMBA or IMPBA member your insurance coverage will likely be void.Don't get me startedComment

Just adjust your trim tabs until your happy with the way it handles the chop.. There's a big difference between running by yourself and running with other boats..
Angle your strut down about 2 degrees..
Whats your COG set at? mines 10 3/4 from the inside of the transome, that makes it 33%

I didn't notice the guy in the canoe until I watched the video, I always stay clear of anyone else in the water. Its just fun running for now, haven't found any races in MA yet. I'll make some adjustments and give it another try over the weekend. The cog is at 29% now. Temps were batt 112, motor 123, esc 135 at what deg should I start to worry as I change prop and setup?
Thanks for the positive feedback
