South River RC Boats

Does anyone know what happened to South River RC Boats? I love the motor mounts they made and need to get a few made up, but when I have tried their website the past month it has not worked. I tried to see if there was a mention on the forum, but couldn't find one, so sorry if this has already been brought up. Are they still in business???

Hi David,

It seems that Jim wasn't getting enough business to keep the web store open. I agree with you, he made very nice mounts and I used them in all of my new builds. It's a shame they won't be available any longer.

Just heard from Jim today and yes, as mentioned in the previous posts...He has pulled the plug on the site as sales were down too much...Very sad news : (

Jim was always fair and got shipments out as quickly and timely as possible. Loved his custom motor mounts...worked like a charm!

Jim...If you are reading this...Thank you for all that you have done for all of us...your online store and custom made mounts will be missed by all!!

Damn! I just got my first and last mount from him and put in a customers boat. Nice mounts. A shame he's bowing out.
