Who has a Genesis and a Miss Geico 29 on hand?

I'm trying to figure out a way to add a dual-pickup rudder to a Miss Geico 29. Don't want to to do ride-pad pickup or transom pickup. I'm thinking the Genesis rudder looks pretty darn close, (where the extension bolts in between the two aluminum brackets sandwiching the strut). Can anyone who has both boats on hand let me know if the holes (center-to-center) are close, how close the rudder extension dimensions are between the MG29 vs the Genesis rudder extension, etc? Please & thank you...

    Hi,
Unless you are doing this for looks, I would not recommend adding a dual rudder to the Miss Geico (or Blackjack). There is AMPLE rudder area for turning, and adding a second rudder just adds drags and will slow you down.

I put a genesis rudder on my MG. You will have to open one of the holes up just a little but it will go on. The genesis rudder i used was a single pick up. I don't know if the dual pick up rudder is different.

It's not necessary. Based on what spadforme says, I can make it fit with minor machining so I'm going to go for it. Thank you for offering, though. Now I just need to find those Genesis parts. I checked with HobbyKing.com and they don't offer just the steering horn by itself, so I'm on the lookout for the parts, used... and the dual pickup rudder blade I'll get from Kintec.
