On my blackjack my biggest regret was not putting extra epoxy over everything and the wood all came loose. A 1" or 2" of fiberglass or carbon mesh inside the boat at the joint really helps. I am not a huge fan of expanding foam in the front because my boat with it seems to ride bow heavy if it is not running full throttle. I have several 2s and 3s batteries so I can run 4,5s. I tend to run the 40 mm stock prop the most cause it can run 4 or 5s with a full pack and does not over heat at connectors, motor and esc. Keep in mind it is stock 80 amp esc and 1800 kv motor in mine. Biggest problems I have had are running 30 c batteries wide open I smoked a lipo pack and running bigger props wires and connectors want to desolder. I have since upgraded to a castle 1515 and it's way more fun, if funds allow test the limits and upgrade if not have fun with it. Good luck

This is everything I bought to upgrade my flex shaft to .187. Just remove the Teflon liner, it's not needed.
