    pursuit runtime

    ok trying to get right combo running 5s 8000mah batt a 4074 1800kv motor and x447 prop got about 5 min of runtime battery was cool motor only slightly warm batt check showed cells at 3.9 a peice should i go to a smaller prop

    I try to take my batteries down to 3.85 ideally, sometimes a bit lower, 3.75 and I really don't like to go any lower than that.

      what about prop size should i go down a bit i have a x440 but thinking it may be to small it would unload more im sure

        Try an x442 or an x445 i have a 36mm motor in it running 50mph with a 443 on 6s

            didnt know if 5 mins was good just trying to tweak it to whats best asking for info from people smarter than me . everything was cool after the run motor only slightly warm i think cut off is alittle high had 3.9 per cell which prolly good saftey margin have had people tell me x447 is to big ? but nothing got hot at all

              If all your temps are fine, and you are happy with the speed, and run time of 5 minutes is really good...why look for problems??

              Also, what capacity is left in your cells after your 5 minutes...don't get hung up on remaining voltage...capacity is more important.
