    would like your opinion!

I bought fiberglass hatches for all my boats this week. Of course I could not leave white. I bought an airbrush to try painting them. I did one tonight and what your opinion on it. Like it? Not like it? What what you do? Different color? Stripe? Black fade from the edges and leave the bubble green? I've got to come up with something because this is just my gps top on this boat. On my fantasm, I only have a fiberglass hatch.....so I want to do something nice looking. My thoughts are to smoke it and fade to black on the edges. ..thoughts?

Carbon fiber the scoop. Colors look good together but they don't look integrated if tha takes sense. Need something to tie in the hatch with the hull, maybe your name on the bubble or fightercat kinda like my avitar pic. Is that a pearl green? Looks good, seems like a tricky color to make look consistent.

Yes it's a pearl with alot of metallic. I'm no painter but in a short time last night I figured out I has to lay it on heavy and it flied out perfectly. I'll take some pics in the sun, maybe it will show better.

How would I cf the scoop? I don't think I could hand cut the vinyl to look good enough. I could air bush it black tho.

Can you get the paint off the scoop Travis? Then I think a fade from CF to the green toward the bubble.

It looks great Travis! I also agree with TheSlaughnessy about the name on the bubble. Keep up the good work!

It's fiberglass. So all you'd see is gel coat. I still have my cf hatches. These are used for gps. BUT.....this is an experiment leading up to the fantasm. I won't paint the fan hatch (I ONLY have a fiberglass hatch for the fantasm) until I figure out what looks really good.

I'm gonna agree with ron, leave it. Or , Maybe do the hatch in a Dark Metallic Grey (to kinda match the CF) and the bubble Green.

That's a good idea. Hang tight. I just went run it to get a base line gps reading on it. I have some pics on the water.

How about adding some green to the hill itself?

It looks great on the water!
What about carrying the green from the bow in the center tunnel and widening it as you go back to the canopy?

Well I don't want to modify/paint the hull as this is a testing hatch. I just want it to match the hull.
