    ESC advice please!

Hi everyone. I'm trying to get an esc for a Feigao 9XL motor. I've been looking at 4 esc in the 100amp plus range. I will be using the esc in a 32" cat....

    1) CC Hydra 120amp ($179)
    2) ETTI 125amp BEC water cooled ($150)
    3) Turnigy 100amp ($65)
    4) X-Power 100amp ($79)

I was going to get the CC Hydra 120, but after reading some posts here, and others in RR forum. The CC 120, 240 seem to have problems lately. So now, I'm not sure which to get. Advice please!

...............There is plenty of room for perhaps even a 200A HiModel esc that may not need cooling if you keep the prop size mellow.

Get Hydra 240, put it in watertight box and run water cooling. Go with 5S LiPo and start with 40mm carbon prop. Get Eagle Flight V3 data logger and measure your full throttle amps. 90A is the max limit for Feigao motors.

EDIT: make sure to disable BEC on Hydra. Run separate BEC.
