Proboat marine grease pump stopped working?

Got the grease pump. Used it a few times and now it wont spit out any grease. The tube has grease in it... What can be wrong with it?

Out of curiosity what do people actually do with that grease gun? Finger in a tub of grease seems easier and cheaper....
I have one for my chainsaw, use if for greasing the tip roller, just can't see where it's used on a rc boat.
If my boats upside down then who owns the one I thought I was driving the last two laps?

Some Proboat models have holes in the drive equipment into which the grease gun is inserted to lubricate shafts etc. BG

There is a ball and seat that occasionally gets debris in between. The simple fix is to remove the tip and use a Q-tip to clean out the grease and some brake cleaner to clean off the ball and spring. Reassemble and it should work again.

Thanks guy. There was an air pocket and it needed cleaned with a q-tip.

I have a tub of grim racing marine grease also. I tend to use the gun more. Its easiear and cleaner to apply. Just apply and insert. Also I pack my stuffing tubes with grease. So it would be alot harder with out the nozzle.

I just use a baby syringe filled with grease to lube the propshaft hole in the strut and stuffing tube.total cost 2 bucks.
