    Gel coat

Upon flipping the boat at 50mph and landing on its lid with an almighty thud out went the rescue boat. Upon arrival to shore, most the hatch tape was missing with a chunk of gel coat taken with it. My question is, what's the best way to repair… do I go out to buy gel coat from my local marine shop or use some epoxy resin or not to worry about it? Thoughts please. Could it get worse if not repaired?

If there's no major compromise with the fiberglass you don't have to worry about BUt you can repair it with epoxy or gel coat too.slow cure epoxy glue will also work good.Gill
